WE ARE OPEN YEAR-ROUND FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS, BUT YOU-PICK FLOWERS ARE SEASONAL. OUR YOU-PICK FLOWERS WILL OPEN IN JUNE 2026.
Walk through fields of colorful sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, and wildflowers, and take a bouquet home with you!
Open Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM for you-pick. Please check our Facebook before visiting to make sure we are open!
We provide the scissors and the lemonade, you provide the vase (we will have jars available to purchase) and craft your own bouquet!

Admission (visit without purchasing bouquet): $10*
*If you purchase a bouquet, you don’t pay admission. Free admission for kids 12 with the purchase of an adult bouquet.

Photographers,
we have the perfect backdrop for your outdoor sessions. Gorgeous flowers, rolling hills, mature trees, a shallow creek surrounded by forest, two ponds, a vintage farm truck, and a life-size wooden cross, all spread across more than 45 acres.
We know you have lots of venues to choose from, but we can promise that you will never experience another location quite like this. As a photographer myself, I have gone above and beyond to cultivate the ultimate backdrop for photographers to explore their creativity and wow their clients.
Open year-round, by appointment only. All photography sessions must be scheduled in advance by messaging us on Facebook or Instagram or using the contact form on our website.

**While guests to the farm are welcome to take pictures on their cell phones, all professional photography must be booked and paid for ahead of time.

Use of all flower fields (sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos & wildflowers). Typically late June through mid-to-late July.
Exclusive usage: limit of 2 photographers per time slot.
1 hour: $35 // 2 hours: $50.

We are available for photography year round.
Pre-flower season photography includes full usage of the property, including the back acreage.
1 Hour: $25 / 2 Hours: $45.

Exclusive access to our gorgeous wooden bridge and our back 25 acres, which includes mature trees with draping canopies, rolling hills, a secluded meadow, and a large pond.
1 hour: $35 // 2 hours: $50.

Want to secure unlimited sessions at the patch, year round?* Invest in an annual pass for $250.
*Sessions must still be scheduled online using our booking software.

Cow experience… we will escort you and your clients on our side-by-side to feed our beautiful herd of cattle and shoot with them in the backdrop of your photos. Can be added on to any session for $25.
Horse experience… we will halter our two ranch horses or our adorable mini horse and you can shoot with them in your photos or in the background. Can be added on to any session for $25.
Exclusive usage of farm truck for your time slot… $15 first hour, $10 additional hours.
Useage of second pond with Notebook style boat and dock… $25 for one hour, $40 for two hours.

We are located on Highway 75, 30 minutes south of Tulsa Hills. We on the east side of the road. Look for a white pole entry and a sign that says “The Prairie Patch.”
Farm Tours and Events
At the heart of everything we do is a love for agriculture and the homesteading lifestyle. We are passionate about teaching the next generation the skills we have learned over the years: raising cattle, goats, and poultry, gardening/canning, sourdough bread making, and more.

Our Story
We’re the Eakin family, and we’re excited to share this beautiful land and the dream of homesteading that led us here.
When we first met 7 years ago, Ethan had a small homestead on 5 acres, and I spent weekends on my family’s 40 acre ranch in Texas. We both dreamed of having our own homestead: a place to raise our children surrounded by agriculture, and to share our bounty with friends and neighbors.
After years of trials and through the grace of God, we finally closed on our first 40 acres in Okmulgee. We quickly fell in love with the community of Okmulgee, and we knew that we wanted to create a space in our community for our friends and neighbors to gather and experience the beauty of nature.
God heard our prayers and opened the perfect door. When we had the opportunity to purchase the land next door to our property (formerly called J&B Flower Patch), we jumped at the opportunity. And The Prairie Patch was born!
The name “The Prairie Patch” was inspired by our love of the Little House on the Prairie book series, which we grew up reading and we are now reading to our own children. Hearing all that the Ingalls family overcame has inspired us to press into the dreams that God has given us! We recognize that what we are building right now is a heritage that we will pass on to our children and our community.
Whether you want to escape the city and surround yourself with beautiful flowers, or capture one-of-a-kind family photos, or perhaps you want to dive deeper into sustainable farming and gardening… there is a place for YOU at the patch.

Yes! We welcome guests to take pictures on their cell phone. If you would like to schedule a professional photo session, your photographer will need to book and pay for their session ahead of time using our website.

We will provide the scissors, and you do the rest! You will cut and arrange your own bouquet. Please bring your on vase for your flowers, or you can purchase one from us.

YOU-PICK IS CURRENTLY CLOSED and will re-open June 2025. We anticipate the sunflowers to start blooming around the end of June and we should be open through the month of July, but it is also dependent on weather and other factors beyond our control. Please visit our Facebook page BEFORE visiting to make sure we are open! During flower season, we are open Saturdays from 9 AM - 12 PM and we are open for groups and field trips by appointment.

We only allow two photographers per hourly time slot, so please be sure to book your session at least a few days in advance to ensure your desired time. Time slots during the flower season will go fast, so we encourage booking early!
